Warranty & Returns

Keep your receipt or order confirmation. We need it for any return or warranty claim.

Returns

  • Every return must be approved first. Contact us for a return authorization (RMA) before you send a part back. Parts sent back without an approved RMA will be refused.
  • You can return a part for a refund within 30 days of purchase. No refunds after 30 days.
  • You pay return shipping, unless the part is defective or the fitment error was ours.
  • If you return a part that isn’t faulty (for example, you ordered the wrong part), we may charge a restocking fee of up to 25%.
  • We may replace a part instead of refunding it.
  • No returns or refunds on: air bags; special-order parts (parts we pull from a vehicle specially for you); special-order deposits.

Warranty

Coverage starts on your purchase date.

  • Engines: up to 90 days, unless your invoice says otherwise. Covers cracks, rod or crankshaft knock, and excessive smoking. Only the long block (block and heads) is covered, not the parts attached to it. Before you run it, replace the timing belt, water pump, oil filter, spark plugs, drive belts, oil and antifreeze, or the warranty is void.
  • Transmissions (automatic and manual): up to 90 days, unless your invoice says otherwise. Guaranteed to work properly and run noise-free. Automatics must be installed with our torque converter or a new or rebuilt one, and the cooler and cooler lines must be flushed.
  • Rear ends: 30 days. Guaranteed to work properly and run noise-free.
  • Radiators and heater cores: 30 days. Guaranteed to flow freely and not leak.
  • Cylinder heads: 30 days. Guaranteed crack-free. Only the bare head is covered.

Not covered

  • Labor costs.
  • Parts that were installed incorrectly.
  • Gaskets and seals, including axle and pinion seals. Replace them when you install the part.
  • Fluids: assume every part arrives empty and fill it with new fluids.
  • Mileage: we don’t certify mileage on used parts.

Used parts

We inspect every part for defects and safety hazards as well as we can. But used parts aren’t guaranteed against every defect, and some may carry safety hazards. Please inspect the part yourself, or have an expert inspect it.

Core charges

  • If your part has a core charge, return your old part within 30 days for a refund of the core charge. Drain all fluids first, or the core deposit may be kept.
  • Sales tax on core charges can’t be refunded (California law).
  • We accept used oil from your core in a sealed container.
